The 4th Annual San Juan Mining Conference will be held in Creede, Colorado on April 24 and 25 2014! Â The conference is free and open to everyone (although lunch is $10 for each day). Thursday April 24, 2014, we will be hosting two concurrent session one of which is about the Colorado Data Sharing Network and the other about Heritage Tourism. Â These are from 11-2 and will include a working lunch. Â After the workshops, we will have two concurrent tours, one will go to Rio Grande Silver and they will show off their coreshed. Â The other tour will include WCRC projects. Â (The Solomon, The Floodplain and the Nelson Tunnel). Â These tours will take place from 230-430ish.
Following the workshops and tours, Rare Things Gallery will host a private event with wine and cheese at the gallery. Â Staff will be around to discuss their wares. Â Also, from 6-8ish, there will be trivia night at Tommyknocker Tavern. Â We have been working hard on getting some prizes and great trivia. Â

Friday April 25 2014 we will have a full day of speakers from 9-5 with two panels to interact with the audience. Â There will be breaks, of course, with snacks and a chance to speak with our poster presenters/exhibitors. Â

Then, we have the 4th Annual High Country Hustle on Saturday April 26. Â This is an annual event with the Rio Grande Headwaters Restoration Project to raise awareness about water and our organizations. Â
