Learn About Your National Parks at the Festival of Books in Tucson

Western National Parks Association, the National Parks Store, and Hubbell Trading Post are bringing the national park experience to the 2015 Tucson Festival of Books! This premier event hosted by The University of Arizona brings together authors, artists, and enthusiasts of all kinds in an effort to support literacy and imagination in readers of all ages.WNPA will be hosting events throughout both days of the festival at our pavilion, The National Park Experience, located in front of the main library.  Events include authentic hoop dancing, a Hubbell Trading Post rug show, and a national park treasure hunt for the kids. In our special Festival of Books pop-up store, you’ll find handmade Navajo rugs and jewelry from Hubbell Trading Post, authentic American Indian crafts, southwestern food and apparel, toys, games, and—of course—books! Items found in the National Parks Store bring vibrant cultures and important stories to life.
