Event to Put on Your Bucket List!
One of the things on my bucket list was to ride in a hot air balloon. Even though, I haven’t quite done that, I am getting closer. Last weekend,(Oct. 25), a girlfriend and I ventured over to Taos, New Mexico for the 32nd Annual Taos Mountain Balloon Rally. Each morning of the event- weather permitting- colorful hot air balloons launch over the Rio Grande del Norte National Monument from the sharp volcanic rim on the Rio Grande Gorge about 10 miles north of Taos. Taos’ perfect flying conditions attract balloonists from all over the country. Every year on the last full weekend of October several dozens hot air balloons fill the skies for the Taos Mountain Balloon Rally, only adding more color to the already vibrant Taos autumn.
However, the breezes can be fickle and on Saturday, the hot air balloon pilots decided to move further south. They slowly trickled into town one by one. Therefore, I have yet to see a mass ascension of hot air balloons.
Balloon Glow and Visiting Orbs!
Yet, the highlight of this event was the night before with the “Hot Air Balloon Glow.â€Â At dusk, the pilots start opening up their balloons and played games with the propane. Soon afterwards, other visitors showed up. If you are familiar with “orbsâ€, check out these pictures and tell me what you think. I managed to capture many of them on my camera. At first, thinking it was raining. These little entities came to watch the spectacular balloon glow show too! For those who are interested in learning more about orbs visit, Orbs Among Us.

I’ve been up in a balloon. It’s a great experience to partake in – once or twice. I find these orbs interesting.
I just got the book, Orbs and Their Mission and Message of Hope. So, look forward to more info on this topic.
